Building Stronger Connections Through Culture, Friendship and Shared Experiences
Beyond the workshops and educational activities, the EATHA mobility in Antalya offered something equally valuable: the opportunity to strengthen relationships, build trust, and create meaningful bonds among the participants.
Coming from different countries — Greece, France, Bulgaria, and Turkey — we had the chance to spend time together not only in the training room, but also through social activities, evening outings, cultural visits, and shared experiences.
These moments allowed us to:
- exchange cultures, traditions, and perspectives
- learn more about each other’s educational realities
- strengthen communication and teamwork
- create friendships beyond professional cooperation
- build a stronger sense of European collaboration and unity
Erasmus+ projects are not only about learning new methodologies; they are also about bringing people together, breaking barriers, and building bridges between cultures.
Throughout this mobility, we shared ideas, laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments that made this experience even more special.
The EATHA partnership continues to grow stronger, not only as a professional network, but as a community united by common values, environmental awareness, and the desire to create positive change.
These human connections are what make European projects truly meaningful.
Successful Completion of the EATHA Training Activity in Antalya
The EATHA project partners successfully completed the transnational training activity in Antalya, Turkey, marking an important milestone in our common journey towards enhancing environmental awareness through experiential learning.
During this intensive and inspiring mobility, participants from Greece, France, Bulgaria, and Turkey collaborated closely, exchanged ideas, and actively participated in a series of workshops designed to strengthen their knowledge and pedagogical skills.
The training focused on innovative experiential learning methods and environmental education through the following workshop topics:
- Concept of Experiential Learning by Kolb
- Analysing Litter
- Climate Fresk
- Zero Waste Practices
- Water Preservation
- Sustainable Agriculture and Plantation
- Digital Mapping Serving Ecology
- Upcycling and Hydroponics
Each workshop combined theory with hands-on activities, allowing participants to experience the full cycle of experiential learning through observation, reflection, conceptualisation, and practical application.
The activity provided valuable opportunities for teachers and educators to:
✔ deepen their understanding of environmental and climate-related issues
✔ develop innovative teaching methods
✔ test and improve workshop materials
✔ exchange best practices and educational experiences
✔ strengthen their capacity to implement similar activities at national level
This successful training represents an important step for the EATHA project, as the developed workshops will now be further adapted and implemented in each partner country, supporting educators and students in building stronger environmental awareness and sustainable habits.
We would like to warmly thank our host organization in Antalya for their excellent coordination, hospitality, and support throughout the training.
The journey continues!
